When the Reid family decided to open a restaurant in George Town, they wanted to offer something extra special. Grand Cayman’s home of live music. A laid-back venue where people could come to enjoy live music entertainment, premium daiquiris and comfort bar food, all while being treated to breathtaking views of Grand Cayman. Sandbar was soon created, and opened to the public in 2018. Locals and tourists alike flocked to Sandbar for it’s great food, cocktails and fun, vibey outdoor atmosphere. 

Now a local favourite, Sandbar Bar & Grill is known for its beautiful sunsets, nightlife and regular live music events, including local artists and DJ’s entertaining the crowds every Friday, weekly Trivia nights, as well as it’s Texas-style smokehouse BBQ specials on Sundays, which is as good for a sit down as it is for takeaways & ordering in! 

Sandbar is the perfect place to come for a bite to eat, enjoy a variety of entertainment throughout the week or to just enjoy a drink while taking in the wonderful views of the ocean, offering fun for the whole family.
